Sarasota Livin'

Anyone know where I can get Sarasota County home sales in a database format??

Flablog has a great link to a Palm Beach Post series on the details behind South Florida's Housing Boom.

Great use of data to really show what is happening at the neighborhood level.

They track home sales by neighborhood from 1995 to 2004 and show what areas really took off (seems 2000 was the year things started to really happen) .... look at the whole page lots of good information.

It's still possible to find a $200,000 home there ...

I am sort of a database professional so I like to play with big data sets... so I'm not kidding if you have the data for Sarasota.

I think this is the beginning of the analysis that we need to be doing to see if / where we have affordable / attainable / workforce housing issues.
