Sarasota Livin'

The below quote is from an email I got this week... I am not going to this "meeting" and I don't think the City of Sarasota needs to be spending that kind of money on a new baseball stadium... but I am not a baseball fan ... now maybe if it were football (soccer) go Italy!!!

Sarasota, FL: The public is invited to attend a presentation explaining the North Sarasota County Community Recreation Concept Plan on Sat., July 15, 2006 at 10am at Sarasota City Hall, located at 1565 First Street in downtown Sarasota. The concept plan is the result of a partnership between the City of Sarasota, Sarasota County and the Cincinnati Reds. It calls for building a new baseball stadium for professional and amateur use, as well as creating new youth athletic facilities in North Sarasota County. The presentation is scheduled for ninety minutes, and questions from the public will be answered.

Refreshments will be served. Also, those people attending the forum will receive a two-for-one ticket voucher for the Sarasota Reds game versus the Lakeland Tigers at Ed Smith Stadium, Sat., July 15 at 7pm.
