OK maybe its fun maybe its research on what works in cities. San Francisco has great mass transit but a terrible problem with "bums" I can't count the number of times I was asked for money and worse had them follow me and the family for most of a block "hey ponytail" ... do they give out welfare checks it seems the answer is yes ... but much less than before. Down from 350 to 50 some per month? real sarcasm here.. welfare for people that don't want to (but can) work is not a good plan. It makes a great city much less fun. I understand why "Pier 39" is popular... private security ...
