Sarasota Livin'

Over at Sticks of Fire a Tampa URBlog I was reading about downtown parking. I am sure Tampa is tighter than Sarasota but I agree just having more parking is not the answer.

Bigger roads and more parking doesn't make a better downtown. Let the market for parking take care of itself. I like to ride my bike downtown because it is easier to get around. Yes when I drive I like to park close by but just yesterday I walked about 5 blocks from the car to get some pizza.

OK I like pizza...
