We went to North Florida for the weekend and ended up at the 29th Annual Reenactment of the




This is a big event, there were thousands of people many of them in period dress. This was the biggest Civil War battle in Florida. The Confederates won...which may be why it is reenacted every year. North Florida is much more a part of the South than from Orlando south. I got some good pictures like this one





That is gunpowder in the air. It is a big "black history" event also as there were several regiments of ex-slaves on the Union side.
