See my previous post about people walking every street in their city. I really like hiking and wish I could do the Florida Trail someday. Since I don't have the time to hike 1,300 miles at once. Hiking close to home will have to do. I really enjoyed the walks I did for SRQ Magazine and think the article in their May issue "Can Downtown be a Walkable Urban Center" was very good. OK I liked being quoted and they spelled my name right.....

I am going to start on Monday May 9th 2005... no scheduled finish date. I made the big announcement at the CCNA meeting this morning and got lots of support. I will try to walk with someone from each neighborhood so I get a guided tour.

I have setup a new web site to document my journey. http://www.sarasotaneighborhoods.org I am going to walk Arlington Park my home neighborhood first. So look for lots of pictures and notes about that coming soon...
