Lets see what has been keeping me busy...

Thursday evening was a "news and public affairs" meeting at WSLR 96.5 LPFM. It will be fun. I look forward to my first show.

Friday evening was a special City Commission meeting on sewer system... that was a thriller... but the good part was the City Commission and staff seem to be ready to fix the problem. I will say that the recent hire of Pam Keyes as Deputy Director - Utilities was a good thing. She came and spoke at our Coalition of City Neighborhoods meeting. She has a lot going for her ... especially being new to the job... all blame goes to someone else - she can focus on making things better. That's what we all want.

I am not into the blame game so I don't need to find someone to blame. Just get it fixed.

Early Saturday morning we went to White Springs to work on the dumpy house ... lots of dirty work but that will end and we can get to the fun part of renovating... it was a long day since we wound up driving home as we couldn't sleep there...

Sunday morning I had to get a new computer as the old one was destroyed by lightning last week... no fun - waste of money - and then spend the whole day setting up software ... at least I was able to recover from my backup. p.s. I hate rebates... what a pain
