But Riding a bike in the snow??
I will be out there to visit someday -- I know how beautiful it is -- and I want to climb an "easy" mountain... have you seen this shirt?
Yea though I hike up
Steep Mountain Trails
with no idea what's behind the next switchback
I shall fear no EVIL
because at 14,417 feet
there isn't enough oxygen for my brain
to understand FEAR anyway...
Bike Rides
Joe - Greetings from the Great Northwest. This place I've landed, Sun Valley, is as bicycle-conscious as anywhere I've been (excluding of course Beijing, but that's another story...)
Bikers are truly at the forefront of the public agenda, with equal weight given to access and safety for bikers on just about everything. Of course the percentage of the population that rides is huge, though I have no numbers to compare with SRQ. It is certainly an interesting contrast! There are also road AND mountain bikers here. (Do you know how easy it is to fall off of a mountain bike at a bad time?)
It seems much harder for bikers to get traction (no pun intended) in Florida except for the occasional construction of after-the fact trails. Just an observation on East vs. West.
My Best!
