Below is an excerpt from the email I sent to the board and general membership of the Coalition of City Neighborhood Associations... Guess I can't change my mind now...

After much thought (over several months) I no longer feel that I am the right person to be president of CCNA. Therefore, I am resigning effective today.

I don't mean this to be personal between myself and any of the great people I have worked with at CCNA. We are all volunteers and our time is one of the most valuable assets we have. I am choosing to use mine for other things.
