Friday, October 13 is a rare opportunity to experience the delicious food created by Raw Chef Dan, a world-class New York restaurant consultant, chef and teacher. On that date, he'll be hosting a dinner party in a beautiful Siesta Key townhouse where he'll prepare many recipes over the course of three hours--a sensational buffet of tasty raw vegan treats--ranging from drinks, tapas and entrees to fantastic desserts. The buffet will be open as the first guests arrive, dine and mingle as more guests arrive. Raw Chef Dan will prepare and serve new dishes throughout the party. Guests will have the opportunity to watch him prepare the various recipes, or can simply mingle and enjoy the festivities. The party will be a fun place to socialize, meet like-minded people, get great ideas for dishes, and learn even more. Raw Chef Dan will talk about a raw foods restaurant in Sarasota, movies, the Bio-Photonic Scanner, Secrets of the Cube, resources, and books. The fee for the dinner party is $70 when you say you heard about it through Sarasota Livin', with the discount price of $120 for two people in advance or $140 at the door. He will also be teaching a Raw Basics class on Oct. 9, and an Intermediate Prep Class on Oct. 11. For all the details click here. To reserve your seat, please contact Raw Chef Dan at 718-702-6275 or rawchefdan@yahoo.com, or call Mun at 917-270-0360. Raw Chef Dan's website is http://www.myspace.com/81872716. Raw vegan cuisine is delicious, inventive and--incidentally--keeps people slim and in excellent health. There are more than 30 all-raw restaurants in the US and more are opening all the time. Whether you're a raw foods enthusiast or someone who has never encountered this cuisine, you won't want to miss this party!
