Sarasota Livin'

I am starting to feel like I sort of am going to start blogging again..... no whining about why I haven't done it much in the last few months...

Well I guess since I do this for myself mostly I will brain dump some stuff ....

I like "roundabouts" / traffic circles -- I want them in Arlington Park -- We really already have a big one on Tuttle Ave and a small one on Temple St.

The house next door to me has a "SALE PENDING" sign !!! the market is picking up !!!

I really like trees no question about that - I bought my current house because of the big oak trees. I like greenspace downtown but it is not the most important thing for a downtown. Downtowns are for people and commerce -- I love shade as much as anyone but I don't think I need Main St to be a canopy road lined with shade trees .... now my street could use more trees ...

I really like Payne Park I think it is a nice greenspace (really nice) in the downtown area. I think many people would really enjoy living in a townhouse / condo / apartment overlooking that great park.
