Sarasota Livin'

Shannon Snyder and Robert Lindsey were very clear in their support for allowing Ringling School of Art to expand somewhat to the North. To quote Shannon "Ringling walks the walk" meaning they are what every city would love … an international draw for the “creative class” to come to Sarasota and even a model resident in Newtown doing a wonderful job redeveloping the North Trail. Ringling (and the other institutions in the area) bring sooo much to Sarasota they deserve all the support we can give them. Lets hope staff got the message.

North is the logical way for them to go - towards New College , and USF , and Ringling Museum and the Asolo Theater …. This is a great cultural / educational corridor and will be the key to making Bayou Oaks and Central Cocoanut the next great neighborhoods in Sarasota.
