Really... we do. They do a tremendous job supporting neighborhoods. Our local LT (Bill Wall) is a great guy and comes to all of our meetings. He will spend as much time as it takes to listen to everyones issues.

But after reading Thomas Tryon's editorial in Sundays newspaper... "Is there a better way to meet the challenge of municipal policing?" I am thinking do we really need a City police force. He made some good points. Now is the time to ask the question as the City is finding out how much a new police station will cost... I think the combined fire department works fine.

I am not 100% convinced either way on this issue but a new police station is alot of money... most likely more than enough to fund Payne Park...
