This is the one week later follow up to my blog posting Welcome to Arlington Park – we are a dumpster lovin’ trashy neighborhood!! I am very sad to report that the dumpster that was so gross last week is now even worse. Seems they don't get emptied very often... this is the front view.. not to point fingers but that is the name and phone number of the management company.. this is not the residents fault..

and now the back / side view thats one way to empty an apartment.

Since I was thinking dumpster on my bike ride I saw lots more along East Ave. Here is Kash and Karry I know they are renovating but look what we get.. yes that is the "Welcome to Arlington Park" sign on the left by the palm trees.

We have our neighborhood association meetings at the Waldemere St Fire Station, look at whats out front.

Looking down Arlington St from East Ave I got a 2 for 1 shot....one on the right is pretty dark sorry ...

Then coming back to the Hillview Apartments... still they are covered this time and only one mattress.. I guess they get the most improved award...

Arlington Park
Hi Joe,
I wish you could have been at the park today , Sunday , about four P.M. with your camera. Along with the unsightly situation near US 41
you could have captured three young men of our area : Sergio and Johnny Bastian, 2411 Grove st. ,Eddie Dorian, Grove X Marshall St. Sartasota age 9 , 10 and 11 years . They with a little support of myself pulled our road barriers out of the pond and hauled them over to our path entrances and reinstalled them into the asphalt. Johnny
is one of the group at Southside(?) called the Orange Kids...trying to get the legislature to designate the Florida Orange as the State
citrus (tree?). Lets give them the recognition they deserve O.K.
A lot goes on around this area ...if people would get out and get involved with the ACTIVITY GOING ON everyone would feel a lot better and be much more willing to STAY INVOLVED as you do I am sure .
I wish you had seen http://www.wsrq.com and made contact ....we have a lot in common that could be put to good use here in our lovely
neighborhood. Charles Montgomery
