There is so much information out there... I went back and was listening to David Brain's lecture (I mp3ed it...) from the neighborhood summit and he mentioned how important density is to successful downtowns.
The Affordable Housing Design Advisor has great lectures with pictures on many different types of affordable housing designs. I found the "row houses" lecture very interesting - getting from 10 to up to 40+ units per acre. This is what we need around Payne Park and in some of the other walk to downtown neighborhoods north of Fruitville Road.
