Sarasota, FL The public is invited to join a complimentary bus trip to Clearwater, Florida Fri., August 18, 2006 for an informative, fun and free night of professional baseball at Bright House Networks Field. The event, “Trip to the Future”, is designed to show residents first hand what a state-of-the-art baseball stadium looks like, as compared to Ed Smith Stadium in the City of Sarasota.
The evening will include free bus travel to and from Clearwater, a tour of Bright House Networks Field, a game ticket, a ballpark meal and a question and answer session with City of Sarasota officials. Participants will attend a Florida State League baseball game: the Clearwater Threshers vs. the Sarasota Reds. Game time is 7pm. The bus will leave Ed Smith Stadium, located at 2700 12th Street, on Fri., August 18th at 5:45pm.
The City of Sarasota is not funding “Trip to the Future”. It is sponsored, in part, by the Sarasota Sports Committee, a non-profit organization.
Now for what I think.... will we be seeing the financial statements for the "bright house networks field" ... lets see if it makes money then everything should be ok ... what is the bet it is a money drain -- sorry I am not a big sports fan -- but I did like world cup soccer.
I have to say I do like hot dogs and beer .. but I will be at a riverview HS football game.

Toyota
service is great but sales is horrible...
Hope things work out for you. Sarasota is a nice place to live.
thought you might find it amusing
I started a blog today that you may find, at the very least, amusing.
We bought a townhouse in downtown Sarasota. Our developer and his sales people...wait for it.....weren't honest about the project.
We've had more and more problems since we moved in in February. And we're finally getting a lawyer involved.
Any way, I thought it might be amusing for you and anyone else you know, to follow along as we try to get even a little satisfaction from him. We spent almost $900K on this place. And quite frankly, we've gotten better service from our Toyota dealer for our $20K car than we have from this asshole and his "people". I get "buyer beware". But there's supposed to be a level of disclosure and honesty on the seller's part. And clearly, the people we're dealing with missed that day in real estate class.
