Monday, November 6 @ 5:30pm Community Meeting at the Sierra Club office, 2011 4th St.
Join us for an introductory meeting to the Refuse to Use ChemLawn Campaign by Ashley Schaeffer, Toxics Action Center organizer.
Ashley will be in Sarasota for 6 weeks, launching a lawn-care pesticide reduction campaign. She will be organizing the community around pesticide issues, fertilizer problems, and water quality concerns. She is here to raise awareness about protecting the health of our children, our pets, and our environment from dangerous lawn-care pesticide exposure, specifically focused on the nation’s largest pesticide-based lawn-care service provider, TruGreen ChemLawn.
All humans should be free to do whatever they wish, as long as they do not intrude upon others;
that no man has a right to the life, liberty or property of another; that we oppose aggression, fraud and coercion.
