The next City of Sarasota DRC meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 , at 9:00 a.m. in the City Commission Chambers at Sarasota City Hall (1565 First Street). The following items will be discussed:

Lido Beach Resort (700 Benjamin Franklin Drive): Major Conditional Use Amendment request to delete the word “Radisson” from the existing conditional use permits. (Qinghong Wei, Senior Planner)

The Business Center (1800 North East Avenue): Revised plans add three new buildings totaling 33,150 sq. ft. to a 4.76 acre site currently occupied by two single story buildings. Part of the site is located in Sarasota County and is in process of annexing into the City. The project will be developed in two phases. (Qinghong Wei, Senior Planner)

Sarasota Bayside (Tamiami Trail): Proposes a mixed-use phased redevelopment of the Quay and adjacent properties totaling approximately 13.9 acres. The redevelopment will include a total of 695 residential units, 175 hotel rooms, 189,050 sq. ft. of commercial space and 38,972 sq. ft. of office space.
