'Four Hours at the Carlton' off-road bicycle race

This four-hour off-road bike race winds through flatwoods, hammocks, puddles and logjams, with six age divisions for men and women, plus male and female youth divisions. The event is sponsored by Sarasota County, Bikesenjava, Caldwell Trust and the Friends of the Carlton.

Participants must provide their own equipment. Pre-registration fee of $25 will be accepted until March 5. After this date there will be a $35 registration fee.
